The pieces have conveniently been falling into place ahead of next week’s Samsung Unpacked event at CTIA. Do we finally have confirmation of what to expect? Just last week a video showing off Ice Cream Sandwich, Google’s next version of Android, was caught running on a Nexus S. Earlier this week Samsung teased us with what could potentially be the Nexus Prime, and just today tech specs of the device have been hitting the Internet. The Android Developers YouTube channel was today updated with an event titled Android ICS Launch along with a countdown which may all but confirm the appearance of Ice Cream Sandwich next week. ICS = Ice Cream Sandwich. See the link? While it doesn’t explicitly say what version of Android we can expect, is there really any doubt what we’ll see ahead of next week? One other thing of note is the countdown, which lines up nicely with the Samsung event next week. Members of the Buffalo will be down in San Diego to bring us all the latest updates once they’re revealed, so stay tuned.
