Welcome to this brand-spankin’-new TechnoBuffalo feature we’re going to try and run once every week. We’ve got ourselves an outstanding, talkative community and we’re looking to harness that and spur it along with a weekly debate topic.
So, every Friday, I’ll toss up a debatable challenge, you folks will vote and discuss. I’ll also be posting the results of the previous week’s poll with a little editorialization on the results.
This week’s edition of the Weekly Gaming Poll will feature a bit about this generation’s strongest trend, motion control. We’ll be getting to the poll itself in just a tick, but I’m here to present your results from last week’s question.
What was last week’s question? We asked you folks to decide which game you were most excited for between Battlefield 3 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. We also left a little room for respondents that didn’t care, respondents that wanted both and respondents that wanted something else entirely.
Here are your results…and, no, I don’t pick the colors, the software does.
My thoughts are that you lot are largely PC gamers. Those of you probably want the latest and greatest graphical powerhouse to test the limits of your gaming rigs. Battlefield 3 will likely do that, given all of the graphic-based hype DICE and EA have delivered.
I’d also bet that a large portion of the gamers that picked Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 play exclusively on consoles. Just a hunch, honestly.
Me? I’m looking forward to both but I leaned towards Battlefield 3 for the poll. I’ve been playing Call of Duty the same way every year since the original Modern Warfare released. I’ll definitely be snagging both games, but I’m more excited for the distinct multiplayer feel of Battlefield 3.
On to this week’s poll!
The largest fad or trend that this console generation brought with it, outside exceptional online play, was motion control. Given that, make your selection…
