The wait for the Nexus Prime may be over soon.
Samsung and Google have started sending out invitations to a special event in San Diego on October 11 to show off “what’s new from Android,” which may very well be an Ice Cream Sandwich sporting Nexus Prime (or “Galaxy Nexus”).
We don’t currently know a whole lot abut the Prime except that it is expected to be running the newest version of Android, Ice Cream Sandwich. An anonymous poster on a 4chan message board last week claimed he or she did a hands-on with the handset with a Samsung rep, and that the phone would have a metal body, 4.65” 1280 x 720 HD Super AMOLED Plus screen, Dual-core Samsung Exynos CPU at 1.5 GHz with 1GB RAM, 16GB of internal storage expandable via SD, and a 2000 mAh battery.
What do you think? Will we see a Nexus Prime on the 11th? What about these specs? You think the 4chan post is spot on, or will we see something different?
