The LG Esteem (LG Revolution) is Coming to MetroPCS with 4G LTE

LG Esteem MetroPCS

A new 4G LTE LG handset headed to MetroPCS has been revealed today through the company’s partner portal — and although you may not recognize the name — you’ll already be familiar with the LG Esteem.

Why? Because the Esteem is essentially the same device as the LG Revolution, with a 4.3-inch display, a 1GHz processor, and a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera. It will be powered by Android Gingerbread, but will also boast the LG Optimus user interface over the top.

LG Esteem Specs

  • Android 2.3 Gingerbread
  • LG Optimus UI
  • 4.3-inch display (800 x 480)
  • 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor
  • 512MB of RAM
  • 5-megapixel rear-facing camera with 720p video recording
  • 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera
  • Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n
  • Bluetooth 3.0
  • 4G LTE
  • 1,500mAh battery

This will undoubtedly be MetroPCS’ most impressive 4G handset when it lands, with only the Samsung Craft and Samsung Galaxy Indulge — neither of which look quite as attractive (externally or internally) as the LG Esteem.

There’s currently no word on pricing just yet, but AndroidCentral says we can expect it “soon.” As for pricing, the Esteem will apparently be a very wallet-friendly $349 with a $100 mail-in rebate.

What do you think of the LG Esteem?
