DICE and EA have announced that all platforms will have a shot at diving into the Battlefield 3 experience a bit early in order to provide the team with some last minute feedback. Starting September 29th, every player on with a PC, Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 will be able to snag the Battlefield 3 multiplayer beta.

The beta is set to include one map and one gametype. The map is Opertaion Metro, and the gametype is Rush. You can check both out in action together in the clip above. This beta features the same set of multiplayer variants shown off to E3 attendants in June.

If you’re looking for a chance to try this shooter early, I suggest you set a reminder for yourself and step up on the 29th.

Battlefield 3 is set to release fully for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC platforms on October 25th. Quick math tells us that this beta will get everyone access to the game for nearly a full month prior to launch day.
