Microsoft Demonstrates Video Calling on Windows Phone 7 With HTC Titan (Video)

I was lucky enough to get my hands on the new HTC Titan during the device’s unveiling at an event in London earlier this month, and one of the most exciting new features, for me, is that front-facing camera — which means it’s capable of video calling.

Windows Phone Mango handsets come with the Tango video calling service built-in, and allow you to communicate with your friends and family face-to-face wherever you both may be for the first time on a Windows Phone device. The service is very much like Apple’s FaceTime feature recently introduced to iOS and Mac devices, or Skype video calling on Android.

In the video above, Microsoft’s Aaron Woodman, Director of Windows Phone, demonstrates the service using the HTC Titan, showing off some awesome features like the ability to quickly switch between the front- and back-facing cameras during a call.

Are you looking forward to video calling on your Windows Phone device?
