Sony Partially Unveils Tokyo Game Show Lineup

Go ahead, take a wild guess at which system Sony will be heavily championing at the Tokyo Game Show come the middle of this September. No, no, it’s cool, we’ll give you a second.

Okay. Pencils down.

It’s the PS Vita, folks. Sony will be showing off a confirmed total of 31 PS Vita titles at their booth during the Tokyo Game Show. Of those 31 games, they have still not announced 18. Here’s what is definitely coming to the show floor for the PS Vita, courtesy of Siliconera:

  • Blazblue Continuum Shift Extend
  • Dynasty Warriors Next
  • Asphalt: Injection
  • The King, the Demon King, and the Seven Princesses: New Little King’s Story
  • Mahjong Fight Club
  • Shinobido 2
  • Virtua Tennis 4
  • Uncharted: Golden Abyss
  • Gravity Daze
  • Hot Shots Golf Next
  • True Night of the Kamaitachi
  • Disgaea 3 Return
  • Ridge Racer

The company has also announced what they’ll be bringing for the PlayStation 3 and PSP. No real surprises on either of these lists.

  • Battlefield 3
  • Dragon’s Dogma
  • Asura’s Wrath
  • Street Fighter X Tekken
  • Dynasty Warriors 7 Xtreme Legends
  • Ninja Gaiden 3
  • PES 2012
  • Metal Gear Solid HD Collection
  • Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker HD
  • Final Fantasy XIII-2
  • Binary Domain
  • Uncharted 3
  • ICO
  • Shadow of the Colossus
  • Ratchet & Clank All 4 One
  • God of War Origins
  • Hot Shots Golf 5 PlayStation 3 The Best
  • Happy Charlie and the Flying Carnival
  • Ni no Kuni

  • Frontier Gate
  • Final Fantasy Type-0
  • Black Panther 2: Yakuza
  • Hatsune Miku Project Diva -extend
  • Over My Dead Body

We’ll leave you with two things. First, we wish we were going to the Tokyo Game Show. Man, it sounds amazing. Second, we really, really, really hope Ni no Kuni finds its way outside of Japan. It’s a game being produced collaboratively by Level 5 and Studio Ghibli. That combination, if you know them, should be blowing your mind.

We’ll have more on the TGS once it approaches.
