HTC Unveils Radar & TITAN: New Windows Phone Mango Devices

HTC Radar and HTC Titan

At an event in London today, HTC unveiled two new smartphones running the Windows Phone 7 Mango operating system. The HTC Radar is a mid-range device that boasts a sleek white look and some decent specifications, such a 1GHz processor and a 5-megapixel camera. The TITAN is HTC’s flagship Mango device, with a whopping 4.7-inch display, an 8-megapixel camera, and a 1.5GHz processor.

Both devices sport a robust aluminum shell and feature HTC’s exclusive Windows Phone 7 features, such as HTC Watch and Photo Enhancer, and a front-facing camera for video calling.

Jason Mackenzie, President of Global Sales and Marketing for HTC, said these devices “raise the bar”:

“The new HTC TITAN and HTC Radar smartphones raise the bar with new advanced photography, multimedia and social capabilities that enable you to take full advantage of the latest Windows Phone innovations. With its large, cinematic display, the HTC TITAN packs an amazing amount of power and innovation into a device that is unlike anything you’ve ever held before and the HTC Radar’s aluminum uni-body, compact size and finish will capture people’s attention.”

Check out the specifications for each device below, and look out for my first impressions and hands-on video coming which will be up shortly.
