We’ve seen a demo of the LG Thrill, done a hands-on, and even have our own model of the handset unboxed in TB HQ. Now we have another important piece of information about the newest 3D handset- its release date. According to AT&T’s official Twitter account, the LG Thrill will be making its 3-dimensional debut on the carrier on September 4th.
We’ve heard rumors about the Thrill’s upcoming release for weeks now, and even caught a glimpse at a Target ad last week suggesting the handset may even be available for just $80 at the retailer with a new 2-year contract. AT&T’s website still lists the handset as “Coming Soon,” however, when its released it is expected to be priced at $99, making it an affordable entry into the world of not only Android smartphones, but especially 3D.
Check out the specs for the Thrill below. What do you think? Anyone looking forward to the handset’s release?
