As we all know, Samsung is hosting a press event in New York City this coming Monday to unveil some devices. (We all knew it was the Samsung Galaxy S II, but they still played coy) Our own Mike Perlman will be attending, barring Hurricane Irene shutting the city down.
In the lead up to the event, our friends over at PocketNow got their hands on an image showing off the AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile versions of the popular phone that sold 5 million units in its first 85 days internationally. And they look like … the Samsung Galaxy S II, imagine that. We’re pretty confident that the T-Mobile Galaxy S II is called the Hercules, and the version for Sprint is getting the unfortunate mouthful of Samsung Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch. (It’ll probably just end up being called Samsung Epic 4G Touch) We still aren’t sure what the AT&T model will be called, but all will be revealed on Monday.
And, in case you missed it, Verizon has confirmed that they are not going to be joining in on the Samsung Galaxy S II love for now.
Be sure to check back with TechnoBuffalo on Monday and Tuesday of next week for all of our coverage of this popular phone line finally launching in the United States!
Are you going to be getting a Samsung Galaxy S II?
