Steve Jobs Book

Steve Jobs: A Biography, the official biography of Apple CEO Steve Jobs now has a release date. According to Barnes & Noble’s website, the biography is set to hit store shelves on November 21 of this year.

The description of the 448 page book of Barnes & Noble’s website is fairly brief:

From bestselling author Walter Isaacson comes the landmark biography of Apple co-founder Steve Jobs. In Steve Jobs: A Biography, Isaacson provides an extraordinary account of Jobs’ professional and personal life. Drawn from three years of exclusive and unprecedented interviews Isaacson has conducted with Jobs as well as extensive interviews with Jobs’ family members, key colleagues from Apple and its competitors, Steve Jobs is the definitive portrait of the greatest innovator of his generation.

The biography contains over 40 interviews with Jobs’ family and friends, and is an authorized by the CEO, although he has no control over the book’s final contents. In an interview with All Things Digital Jobs said on the biography “I’ve done a lot of things I’m not proud of, such as getting my girlfriend pregnant when I was 23 and the way I handled that,” he said. “But I don’t have any skeletons in my closet that can’t be allowed out.”

You can pre-order the digital version of Steve Jobs: A Biography now for the Nook for $14.99, or in hardcover for $20.40.

Love or hate Apple, you have to admit Steve has done a lot for Apple, and is a pretty remarkable CEO. I know I’ll probably be picking up a copy come November. Anyone else planning on picking up a copy?
