Starbucks and Apple Partner to Give You Free Apps

Now when you visit your local Starbucks you can walk out with a free iOS application in addition to your latte. The coffee chain has expanded its music partnership with Apple to now include free app downloads for customers.

Customers can snag a “Pick of the Week” card when making a purchase at Starbucks that includes a code to download a specific application for free. If you’ve ever picked up a free iTunes card from Starbucks to download a song, these are going to look and work the same way.

The first app available through the program is Shazam Encore, which currently retails for $5.99 from the App Store. You can nab a free download of the app from your local Starbucks store until Sunday (while supplies last). Monday a card for a new application will be available.

What applications would you like to see Starbucks offer for free?
