Verizon Adds Two New 4G LTE Devices to its Arsenal

Verizon announced today that it is expanding its offering of devices that take advantage of its 4G LTE network on July 28th.  However, before you think you’re going to walk in and pick up a new phone super fast speeds, be warned that neither of the new devices are going to fit into your pocket.

First up is the HP Pavilion dm1-3010nr Entertainment PC.  Previously announced at CES this year, this computer clocks in at a size slightly larger than a netbook, but running a full version of Windows 7 for your convenience.  With the built-in LTE connectivity, the computer will be able to enjoy download speeds of around 5 to 12 Mbps, and uploads of 2 to 5 Mbps (of course, only if you’re in an area with LTE coverage).  It will be for sale on Verizon’s site starting on the 28th for $599.99 with plans running $50 for 5GB of data a month, or $80 for 10GB.
