Lenovo has finally made good on its tablet promises, announcing three new tablets to be released later this year. The trifecta of tablets includes the IdeaPad Tablet K1 designed for consumers, the ThinkPad Tablet for business users, and the IdeaPad Tablet P1 for those who want to mix business with pleasure when it comes to their tablet.

“Tablets are extremely personal technology devices. That’s why we’ve created a family of tablets that has something for everyone, including entertainment-friendly features and content for consumers, or business- friendly features to enhance productivity for professionals as well as security and manageability for IT Managers,” said Liu Jun, senior vice president and president, Mobile Internet Digital Home business group, Lenovo. “So whether it’s the IdeaPad for entertainment or the ThinkPad for business, we have listened to our customers and are delivering Android tablets designed to meet their particular needs.”

All three tablets are Netflix-certified, and will be the only Honeycomb tablets on the market that are for a short period of time. All three tablets have 1080p HDMI output coupled with Digital Rights Management (DRM) built-in, Netflix members can also instantly watch movies and TV shows streaming from Netflix on their tablet directly on a big screen TV.

All of the tablets come with Netflix preinstalled, as well as 40 other applications and access to the “Lenovo App Store,” where users can purchase “applications that have been tested specifically for Lenovo IdeaPad and ThinkPad Tablets.”
