If you’ve been thinking about trading in your old e-reader for a new Nook or Nook Color, then Barnes & Noble is making it a little more attractive for you to do so. The company is now offering 30 free e-books to any customer who brings their old e-reader into a Barnes & Noble store and walks out with a Nook.

Before you get too excited -Barnes & Noble is picking the 30 books you get for free (supposedly a $315 value) and giving them to you pre-loaded on a microSD card.

“The 30 digital books represent a variety of genres including Cooking, Kids, Classics, Humor, Lifestyle, Fiction, Sports, History, True Crime and Reference. Some of the free titles include: The Good Housekeeping Cookbook, Cristina Ferrare’s Big Bowl of Love, Creating Your Best Life, Glory in the Fall: The Greatest Moments in World Series History, 21st Century Crossword Puzzle Dictionary, My Boyfriend Wrote a Book About Me and timeless favorites including Secret Garden and Robinson Crusoe” You can check out a full list of titles here.

What do you think about the deal? Would you give Barnes & Noble your old e-reader in exchange for 30 book titles you don’t get to choose yourself?
