Geeked: Pioneer’s DJ Created Art Mix

What happens when you give some famous people DJ equipment and have them decorate it? Last night Pioneer kicked off the Pioneer DJ created Art Mix, an art show that “brings together many of the world’s best DJs, urban artists and designers to create original works of art” on Pioneer’s CDJ-2000 digital music player.

The art pieces are going on tour this summer, and will be exhibited in key markets. At the end of it all they will all be sold in an online auction, with the proceeds going to benefit VH1’s Save The Music Foundation.
