Vizio, best known for its budget prices HD televisions, made a splash at CES this year by announcing it would be releasing a tablet some time this year. Since the close of the show back in Jan. things have been pretty quiet, but recently the 8-inch Android tablet was spotted on the FCC site receiving its approval, and then NBA star Blake Griffin showed it off in a video when the company sent someone to his house to set up a new entertainment system.
While neither of these things necessarily indicate the tablet is due for imminent release, a Walmart in Indiana made the most convincing argument for it when they put out signs for it as well as a cover from Griffin.
The picture appeared on This Is My Next, and shows that the retailer plans to sell it for $349, something else that had not been confirmed as of yet. It looks like the company will be keeping with its reputation of being for the budget minded, and that is not necessarily a bad thing.
