Gaming for the Weekend – 6/11

by Joey Davidson | June 11, 2011June 11, 2011 1:12 pm PDT

We here at TechnoBuffalo are lovers of all things gadget, gizmo and tech. Video games are a part of that world. As a way to share a little bit more about our editors and their weekend habits, we’ve decided to run a weekly feature every Saturday that dives into what some of the staff are playing.

Whether it’s Angry Birds or Bad Company 2, you’re likely to find a wide variety of titles and preferences here every time you read. Enjoy

Jon Rettinger – President
In celebration of Ocarina of Time making a triumphant comeback to the 3DS, I’ll be busting out Twilight Princess on the Wii!

Sean Aune – Editor in Chief
I blame Joey for my new found Minecraft addiction.  Who knew breaking blocks and getting wool from sheep to make a psychedelic floor pattern for a stone tower could be so relaxing?

Jack McGrath – Contributing Editor
This weekend, I’ll be finishing up L.A. Noire and moving onto Sucker Punch’s latest creation, Infamous 2. Other than that, I’ll be constructing monuments and exploring the Nether in Minecraft.

Joey Davidson – Video Games Editor
Here comes the first weekend in a while that I’ve actually be excited to sit down and play my 3DS for a good long stretch. The funny part about the notion is that I’m looking forward to playing extremely old games on the system. Excitebike and The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening DX are both available on the system’s store right now. I’ve already purchased them (Excitebike is free until next month) and dumped around 2 hours in each.

What are you playing this weekend?
