13 Minutes of Modern Warfare 3 Gameplay Emerge

Riding on a wave of anticipation, Modern Warfare 3 is set to be one of the biggest games of all time. It is reasonable to say that it will easily trump its predecessors, delivering an unforgettable experience that will hopefully live up to years of hype. To kick of its E3 press conference yesterday, Microsoft gave Infinity Ward the opportunity to show off its latest creation, but that wasn’t enough. Today, the developer handed over 13 minutes of a new level to GameTrailers.

The demo puts players in the shoes of an unknown soldier who awakes to find himself in the middle of a firefight, trapped in a crashed Humvee. After escaping the burning inferno, he takes part in a mission to reclaim the New York Stock Exchange, watching buildings along Wall Street burn and crumble along the way.

If you’re jumping up-and-down with excitement just by reading that description, take a look at the full video below. Modern Warfare 3 will be released to the public on Nov. 8th, 2011 on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.

What do you, fellow gamers, think of the newest bit of gameplay we’ve seen from Modern Warfare 3? Are you looking forward to playing missions like this? Is there anything specific you want to see the developer change about the Call of Duty series to make it even better? Sound off in the comments below.
