Sure, most of us have “Liked” something from the web on Facebook st some point, but do you want to “Like” real-world things and post them on your Facebook profile? Diesel thinks you do, and is rolling out a new Facebook Like system in its stores in Madrid, Spain with plan to expand the service across Europe if it catches on.
So what does a real-world Like look like?
Diesel has scattered QR codes throughout its Madrid store beside products. If you see a pair of pants that you like, or a sweet shirt you just have to have, scanning the code beside said items will launch a page where you can Like that fashion item on Facebook and check out others like it. When you’re done, Diesel will them post the item in question on your Facebook wall so all your friends can check it out.
What do you think? Would you scan a code in stores to Like things on Facebook?
