Google Announces 2011 Doodle 4 Google Winner

Yesterday Google announced the winner of its annual Doodle 4 Google contest. The contest is open to K-12 students, and has students create their own redesign for the Google homepage logo. The winner, Matteo Lopez took home a $15,000 scholarship from Google, and had his logo displayed on the search engine for the entire day yesterday. Two runners up scored $5,000 scholarships.

Google received over 107,000 entries from students across the United States.
