TechnoBuffalo Defines: Netbook

by Emily Price | April 26, 2011April 26, 2011 1:30 pm PST

TechnoBuffalo Defines is a weekly column where we ask you, the TechnoBuffalo readers, to give us your thoughts on a particular topic or word. Each Tuesday we give you guys a new tech term to define, and you give us your best shot at a definition in the comments. The TechnoBuffalo staff then picks our favorites from the mix, post them on Thursdays as a poll, and let you all vote for who you think did the best job of explaining the term to everyone else with the winner scoring a prize!

This week’s term is: Netbook

The term netbook is used to define a number of different computers. What sort of specs do you think qualifies something to be called a “netbook.” rather than just a “laptop” or “notebook?”

This weeks prize is: earTones iSkin Antimicrobal Earbuds

The earTones are the “World’s first earbuds with built-in Microban® protection and FlexFit. Both the earbuds and the microphone control are embedded with Microban®, which inhibits the growth of odor, fungus and stain causing bacteria. The FlexFit™ feature allows the earbud to move, making it easy to insert into the ear and provides overall comfort, and built-in remote with integrated microphone allows you to quickly answer calls or change tracks.”

To make sure we can contact you quickly after you’ve won, please make sure to have your Twitter or Facebook account associated with your comments. We can only ship to U.S. addresses.

Give us your best shot in the comments, and check back Thursday to see our picks!
