I’ve never been a fan of vague tech commercials. Even as an iPhone user, I enjoyed the “Droid Does” campaign for Verizon’s first Motorola Droid because it got straight to the point. The pseudo-futuristic, laser-flanked ones that followed? Not so much. (Likewise, the Palm Pre ads with the “creepy lady” — shudder. I still have nightmares over those.) Now with the new Droid Charge commercial, it suddenly feels like mid-2010 again.
