iPad 2 (or Cash) Giveaway Reminder! – ENDED

by Sean P. Aune | March 23, 2011March 23, 2011 7:50 am PDT

Don’t forget that TechnoBuffalo is giving away an iPad 2 to one lucky winner in our iPad 2 (or cash) giveaway!

For those who may not remember, we’re running a contest right now where you can win an iPad 2 if you live in the United States, or the cash equivalent if you live elsewhere in this big old world of ours.  The prize is either a white or black (your choice) 16GB Wi-Fi iPad 2, and that means those of you in other countries would win $499.  While we know that may not be enough to buy one where you are, it’s still free money!

All you have to do is send a tweet on Twitter of any of the stories on this site that have appeared since March 9th through March 31st with the hashtag #ipad2giveawayTB.  So you’re tweet would appear like the example below.

iPad 2 Twitter giveaway

Remember, only ReTweets for posts published on from March 9th until 11:59 PM PST on Thursday March 31st, 2011 are eligible, and only one tweet per post. The good news, however, is if we publish say 15 posts in a day, that means you could have up to 15 entries for that day!

To recap:

  • ReTweet our stories each day with the hashtag #ipad2giveawayTB (only posts dated March 9th, 2011 through March 31st, 2011 count).
  • Winners will be chosen at random from all of the ReTweets with that hashtag.
  • A winner inside the United States will receive their choice of either a white or black 16GB Wi-Fi iPad 2.  They can also opt for the cash equivalent ($499) to be paid via PayPal, winner must have a PayPal account or access to one.
  • A winner outside of the United States will receive $499 via PayPal, winner must have a PayPal account or access to one.
  • No more than one ReTweet per story, and must include the designated hashtag.  Failure to follow either rule will result in your Tweet not counting.

That’s it!  Get to ReTweeting, folks!  And good luck!
