CTIA starts Monday in Orlando, Flordia. The week will surely bring several wireless announcements, but thanks to Boy Genius, we already have a good idea on what Sprint has in store for us. According to a Boy Genius source, Sprint will be showing off the following:
HTC EVO 3D
The EVO 3D (this is a pic of the EVO 4G) will come running Android 2.3 Gingerbread, have a 4.3” qHD 960 x 450-pixel autostereoscopic 3D display, 4GB of RAM, 1GB ROM, 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm 8660 Snapdragon CPU, and dual rear 5-megapixel cameras, and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera. The phone will also be able to output 1080p high-definition video via an HDMI-output, as well as 720p 3D content.
HTC EVO View 4G
The EVO View 4G is reportedly a 7” 1024 x 600 tablet with a unibody aluminum design. The tablet will come running Gingerbread, and a version of HTC Sense optimized for tablets. Camera-wise the tablet will have a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera, and 1.3-megapixel forward-facing camera.
Samsung Rant 3
An eco-friendly touchscreen device with a solar-powered rechargeable battery door.
Xoom and BlackBerry PlayBook
Sprint is expected to announce a version of the Xoom identical to the Verizon version of the tablet, however running on Sprint’s 4G WiMAX network, as well as a WiMAX version of the BlackBerry PlayBook.
We’ll find out this week if Boy Genius’ source was correct and these devices are on the way. Which ones are you excited about?
