Gaming for the Weekend – 3/5

We here at TechnoBuffalo are lovers of all things gadget, gizmo and tech. Video games are a part of that world. As a way to share a little bit more about our editors and their weekend habits, we’ve decided to run a weekly feature every Saturday that dives into what some of the staff are playing.

Whether it’s Angry Birds or Bad Company 2, you’re likely to find a wide variety of titles and preferences here every time you read. Enjoy.

Sean P. Aune – Editor-in-Chief
Batman Arkham Asylum will finally be started!  I am determined to get through this before Arkham City as it just looks so darn impressive.  And I’ve got to clean out some of this backlog gaming before L.A. Noire comes out as I’m getting more and more intrigued by that game the more I see of it.  And, of course, some more Angry Birds.  Stupid addictive game …

Jack McGrath – Gaming Intern
This weekend, I will likely spend most of my time forging a world in Minecraft, a wonderful indie title developed by an up-and-coming studio called Mojang Specifications. I don’t know what exactly is so satisfying about using TNT to destroy the very world I spent hours making, but this is the most genuine fun I’ve had while playing a game in a while. Other than that, I will likely capitalize on the Black Ops‘ Double XP Weekend and hopefully charge through some LittleBigPlanet 2.

Joey Davidson – Video Games Editor
This weekend should be one entirely around collecting experience. On one hand, Black Ops should be solid what with Double XP Weekend and all. I may Prestige one more time before I shelf the game for good. We’re heading into the season of new releases. Dragon Age II and the 3DS promise to clog my free time up here pretty soon. I’m also going to keep rolling with Pokémon Black as I continue to build the most awesome party of Pokémon ever.

What are you playing for the weekend?
