We here at TechnoBuffalo are lovers of all things gadget, gizmo and tech. Video games are a part of that world. As a way to share a little bit more about our editors and their weekend habits, we’ve decided to run a weekly feature every Saturday that dives into what some of the staff are playing.
Whether it’s Angry Birds or Bad Company 2, you’re likely to find a wide variety of titles and preferences here every time you read. Enjoy.
This weekend my gaming will focus on not getting beat in Starcraft 2 by our own Jon Quach. His Zerg attacks can be killer. If anyone needs me the next few days, I’ll be practicing my defenses, and figuring out how to build a starport.

You know, I never thought I would come to say, “Wow, this DLC is too long!”, but I’m getting there with Undead Nightmare. I’m sure some people beat this rapidly, but with my schedule of only an hour or two a week to game, this thing is taking forever. I will, however, say, my Angry Birds addiction is reaching scary heights; at least I can play a level for a minute and walk away.

This weekend, upon hearing positive comments from my friends, I have decided to give Minecraft, an indie-sandbox game developed by Mojang Specifications, a shot. They are setting up a server, so it should be interesting to see what random creations we are able to come up with. On the console side of things, I’m slowly making my way through LittleBigPlanet 2 and Test Drive Unlimited 2 while still making sure to fit my weekly dose of Black Ops in.
Joey Davidson – Video Games Editor
Another weekend, another constant gaming session. This weekend looks like even more Bulletstorm (the game is straight glorious), Black Ops, NHL 11 and Borderlands. Yeah, Borderlands. A PC gamer friend of mine recently lost his rig and went to the Xbox while he gets up some money to replace his system. He’s been fiending for loot and I pointed him in the direction of Borderlands. I wasn’t wrong.
What are you playing for the weekend?
