Gaming for the Weekend – 2/19

by Joey Davidson | February 19, 2011February 19, 2011 9:22 am EST

We here at TechnoBuffalo are lovers of all things gadget, gizmo and tech. Video games are a part of that world. As a way to share a little bit more about our editors and their weekend habits, we’ve decided to run a weekly feature every Saturday that dives into what some of the staff are playing.

Whether it’s Angry Birds or Bad Company 2, you’re likely to find a wide variety of titles and preferences here every time you read. Enjoy.

Jon Rettinger – President
My Plants vs. Zombies passion has reached a fever pitch.  This weekend I am determined to get every plant in my inventory.  Stupid Zombies.

Sean P. Aune – Editor-in-Chief
Okay, I’m sorry, but Undead Nightmare has to be the longest DLC in history.  As much as I was enjoying it last weekend, I’m ready to move on, but feel some sort of odd obligation to finish this now.  And there’s the fact I finally downloaded Angry Birds for my iPad to see what all the fuss was about … I think I lost a day of my life somewhere in there.

Jack McGrath – Gaming Intern
This weekend I’m out of town and thus I shall rely on mobile gaming to get my fix. My iPad has a plethora of awesome games on it, and recently I’ve been into World of Goo the most. If I get the chance, I’ll also try to fit in a round or two of Starcraft II, but only if the Internet at the hotel is fast enough (which is highly unlikely).

Joey Davidson – Video Games Editor
This weekend I was handed a few review copies for Bulletstorm and de Blob 2 should be making my free time disappear. When I’m not settling down with those two completely contrasting games, I’ll be playing either Borderlands (yup, re-visitation is what’s happenin’) or Black Ops. My wife is going to a conference until Wednesday… I probably won’t turn my console off for anything other than work or sleep.

What are you playing for the weekend?
