1. RIP Guitar Hero

During a financial call held yesterday by publishing conglomerate Activision, the popular game distributor announced that they have decided to kill the Guitar Hero franchise and focus efforts on more lucrative ventures, such as Call of Duty. It looks like it might be time for you to learn how to play an actual instrument instead of plucking away at those plastic peripherals.

2. BlackBerry PlayBook Priced in Inventory

In an apparant leak, a screenshot of Office Depot’s inventory system displayed that the BlackBerry PlayBook will be headed to the supplier during “Week 17.” Can you decode this cryptic message?

3. Hands-on with the New HP Smartphones

After announcing a slew of new devices yesterday, HP is looking poised to take a bite out of the smartphone pie. The Veer is a tiny, casual-centered device that provides the full keyboard of the Pre without the additional price. The Pre 3 is looking to go head-to-head with devices like the iPhone, sporting a 3.6-inch screen and a larger keyboard. Will either be worth it? Check the links below and find out.
