Jon Rettinger To Talk Tablets On CNBC Today

With the Motorola XOOM set for release, the tablet wars are about to get a whole lot hotter.

With the Motorola XOOM commercial airing during the Super Bowl last night, and now the leaked Best Buy ad showing its Feb. 24th release, Android’s first tablet-specific version, Honeycomb, is about to hit shelves. ┬áThis is seen as the first true contender to Apple’s iPad as previous Android tablets like the Samsung Galaxy Tab have been running Android 2.2 and earlier, versions that even Google itself says weren’t meant for that form factor.
