Google has announced Google Body for Android 3.0 Honeycomb, “Google Maps for the body.”

Google announced Android 3.0 Honeycomb this morning, the first version of the operating system built specifically for tablet devices.  One of the new features is a new app called Google Body, or what the company is referring to as “Google Maps for the body.”  You can explore the body, anatomy, turn layers on that will show you things such as the human skeleton, circulatory system and so on.

As you look through the body, you can pull up the names of items so you could more easily describe where a problem is to your doctor, or if your physician was to say you’ve pulled a certain muscle, you could look it up by name.

This will be included by default in Honeycomb.
