The LG G-Slate tablet has finally been confirmed to be coming to T-Mobile some time this spring.
Rumored for some time now, the LG G-Slate has finally been confirmed as coming to T-Mobile within the next few months. While you could write this off as yet another tablet in a sea of tablets, this one brings a whole new dimension with it … as in the third dimension. The rumors of the tablet having a 3D screen are indeed true, as is the speculation that you will be able to film 3D videos with it.
The new LG G-Slate will feature an 8.9-inch HD screen that is also capable of displaying 3D videos (with glasses) you shoot with the rear camera. You will also be able to shoot full 1080P HD video with the five megapixel camera with LED flash. A two megapixel front-facing camera will also be included which will work with your friends running Google Talk on their computers as well as other video conferencing services.
The G-Slate will be running on Android 3.0 Honeycomb , the first version of the operating system developed strictly for tablets. It will also come with T-Mobile 4G network access, so you should see some pretty great speeds when you are out and about with it.
You’ll be getting 32GBs of storage and be able to take advantage of a built-in gyroscope, accelerometer and adaptive lighting.
What say you? Any interest in a 3D capable LG G-Slate?
