Rumor: White iPhone Coming To Rogers In Canada

by Sean P. Aune | January 14, 2011January 14, 2011 11:49 am PDT

The white iPhone 4 has become like an urban legend. Apple announced it at the same time that the black version was unveiled last summer, but then it disappeared from Apple’s site some time later, never to be heard from again. Every so often a rumor pops up that it does indeed exist, but then nothing comes of it.

Well, this time we have proof the Unicorn of the tech world is real, and is indeed coming soon to Canada, under the Rogers badge.

An anonymous source has sent us this picture of the Rogers inventory system. When they logged into it today, they found two new lines they hadn’t seen before listing a 16GB and a 32GB version of the iPhone 4 in white. Image below, please click for a larger view.

It looks like the white iPhone 4 is indeed real this time, and if it’s coming to Rogers, it’s hard to believe that it won’t also be coming to other carriers such as AT&T in the United States, and possibly even Verizon.

This is the most solid evidence we have seen to date that the white iPhone 4 may finally be making its way into the hands of consumers, and while things can always change, it looks like we should be expecting an official announcement sometime in the very near future that this mythical beast is indeed finally real.

What say you? Are you excited for a white iPhone?
