Sprint Event Feb. 7th; iPhone 4?

Perhaps I was a bit hasty in thinking Sprint was in trouble. After the closed door affair at CES, I was a little worried about them, but it appears they were just getting ready to hold their own event on Feb. 7th.

What is it?  Who knows.  As we speculated the other day, Sprint does have the same network as Verizon, so they could get the iPhone 4 any time now, but saying its “yet another industry first” makes us think its something else.  And they’ve already announced the BlackBerry PlayBook, so it seems unlikely they would have a high profile event for an already announced product.

Whatever the item is, it has to be major for them to hold an event in bring in David Blaine, and as to what an “industry first” is … who knows.  It’s kind of hard to predict “a first”.

In any case, TechnoBuffalo has received its invite, and we’ll be on the scene to bring you the latest news.
