Skype Video Calls Look To Be Coming To Mobile Devices

It would seem that someone at the Skype offices may have celebrated the Christmas holiday with a bit too much egg nog over the weekend as a document got leaked that the company probably would have like to have kept under wraps for at least another couple of weeks.

Our bet is that the employee Christmas party is canceled for next year already.

Skype Video Call HelpAccording to Engadget, a document appeared on Skype’s site Friday morning, a portion of which is pictured to the right.  Apparently Skype is preparing to release video calling for the iPhone at minimum, but this doesn’t preclude other mobile platforms, their documents were simply not located.  Before you go nuts trying to verify this for yourself, the iPhone document has been removed.

Considering representatives from Skype are going to be all over the Consumer Electronics Show next month, and will  even include at least one talk on mobile video calls.  Add all of this up and it would probably be a safe bet that a major announcement will be coming from Skype within the next few weeks.

What say you?  Are you excited for Skype video calls on the iPhone?
