Flashback Friday: A Time Traveler Caught On Film In 1928?

A man posted the above video clip to YouTube on Oct. 23rd, and … we aren’t sure what to make of it.

The clip is from the world premiere of Charlie Chaplin’s film The Circus at Mann’s Chinese Theater in 1928.  A woman walks by the camera with her hand to her head like she’s holding a cell phone, and obviously speaking.  While we agree that it looks like she is on a cell phone, when she turns her head slightly towards the camera it looks like her hand is empty.

We aren’t saying one way or the other on whether or not this is a time traveler, but it it is certainly intriguing to think about.  What are your thoughts?
