Who Is This Guy?

by Tom Moccia | October 18, 2010October 18, 2010 10:00 am PDT

Hello Readers, you may be wondering who is this new guy infiltrating my favorite bookmark, TechnoBuffalo?  Let me introduce myself, my name is Tom Moccia and you may know me from articles you have read in iPhone Life Magazine or you may recognize me from the video review site,  I have been covering technology and doing tech reviews for just over two years now all while implementing my degree in Network Administration.

4884700220_a29fe779fb_bIt is now time to branch out and write consistent, informative, timely and hopefully, thought provoking pieces for the loyal TechnoBuffalo readers who rely on us for breaking news and tech tips.

I am originally from Stamford, Connecticut, moved to Northern California in the winter of 2000 and enjoy the year round sunshine, although I do miss family and my beloved Yankees back east.  My wife Andrea keeps our family on track both professionally and emotionally all while coordinating the social calendars of our daughters, Kaitlyn 8 and Kinsey 3.  I am an adrenaline junkie and ultra competitive so playing softball and an occasional skydive keep me sharp when away from the craziness of everyday life.

I am a Mac covert as of 2007 and my primary mobile device is an iPhone but before you peg me an Apple fanboy, my attitude is of consumer benefit.  I want ALL operating systems and companies to innovate, excel and succeed because in the end consumers get a higher quality product and affordable prices with competition.

So, that’s a little about me and I hope to get to know the Techno Buffalo readers on a more personal level as time marches on.  If you have a topic you would like covered please feel free to send me an email at, and I will try to accommodate.  I look forward to writing for you and I will see you all on the flip side.
