Call Of Duty: Black Ops Single Player Trailer Finally Released

Finally we’re getting a taste of what the single player mode is like for Call of Duty: Black Ops (AKA Call of Duty 7) coming out Nov. 10th from Treyarch.  This company has been handling the odd numbered entries in this series, while Infinity Ward has been taking the even numbered ones with it Modern Warfare installments.

Black Ops logoTreyarch has had a bit of a mixed run with the series with Call of Duty 3 getting lukewarm reviews, but Call of Duty 5: World at War going on to be a pretty big success.  This new game takes the series into the “Cold War” era where you will play two different agents charged with trying to quietly end wars that no one wants the public to be aware of, or better known as “Black Ops”.

While the video is pretty to look at, this is of course just a collection of cut-scenes, and not actual gameplay.  This isn’t to say that we fear the game will look bad, we really don’t, I just never find myself getting excited over these trailers when it comes to game.  Give me some good old gameplay footage and I’ll become a much bigger believer.

What say you?  Will you be picking up Call of Duty: Black Ops?
