Google Mobile Searches Docs and Email via BlackBerry

The latest update to Google Mobile App for BlackBerry allows users to pick through Gmail items and contacts as well as Google’s Doc product as well.

The newest feature will integrate seamlessly with the application so the user won’t need to alter how they use the search.

A voice or text prompt in the Google Mobile App will turn up results stored on your smartphone as well as Google’s servers.  There, you will see the results and their origins accordingly.  For example, it will specify whether the source is an e-mail, the subject of a Google Doc, a contact, or an item stored on your BlackBerry.

On the security side, Google will use the secure “https” connection to transfer data so all the account details will be encrypted as well as your passwords.  The application will be available over-the-air and can be downloaded via m.google.com in your BlackBerry browser.
