Four Generations of iPhone Side By Side

Now that come across the fourth generation of iPhone, the original is getting harder to remember.  Whether you remember it for its aluminum chasis, slow Edge speeds, or its barebones 1.0 software, it’s where the smartphone revolution began.   Externally, not too much has changed in three years but they’re somehow managing to cram a whole lot more unicorn tears into a shrinking package.  The video above shows the the iPhone, iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, and iPhone 4 powering through the same tasks with varying results.  You’d expect the iPhone 4 with its speedy A4 system on a chip to make it the winner in every round.  Alas, the original is good for one thing; powering down.  Watch the iPhone app wave above.
