Apple seeded their first build of OS X 10.6.5, build 10H525 on Saturday morning. The current build comes just under three weeks since Apple began the 10.6.5 seed.
According to reports from tech pundits, this current build focuses on modifying, correcting and solidifying support in iCal, Mail, Printing, 3D Graphics, QuickTime, and X11.
The build further includes two known issues:
– UI elements in Web Views (e.g. iTunes Store) may require double clicks to respond
– Connecting to Exchange may fail with HTTP Error 400
Apple began seeding 10.6.5 in July 2010. At this time, it is unknown how long this build period will last, but if the 10.6.4 period is any indication, the 10.6.5 period could take us into late Fall of 2010.
Mac OS X 10.6.5 will signify the fifth main revision to the Apple’s current operating system, OS X Snow Leopard.
