Dell Thunder Caught on Camera

If you remember back to earlier this year around April, you might recall some very intriguing handset mockups that Dell was presumably hard at work to bring to life.  It you were drooling over the Dell Smoke, Lightning, Flash, or other Dell handset it looks like we’ve got the first sign they’re actually on the way.  Up first is the Dell Thunder.

An Engadget tipster leaked a hands-on video of the Thunder showing off the presumably near-completed hardware design.  The source reports an 8 megapixel camera with LED flash capable of 720p video, a removable 1,400 mAh battery, supposed 800 x 480 OLED 4.1″ display.  The device is currently sporting Android 2.1 but come launch, let’s hope for the most current Android update, whether that means Froyo or Gingerbread, your guess is as good as ours.

Hopefully the Thunder isn’t the only device hopeful that actually sees the light of day.  Take a look back at April’s leak and let us know which device you’re most willing to give consideration to in the comments below.  Once you do, head on over to Engadget for the one-minute hands-on video of the Dell Thunder.
