Should iOS Folders Be Infinite?

To alleviate the constant swiping between pages to find an app you were looking for, Apple introduced folders to iOS 4.  The biggest problem comes when you’ve got more apps in one particular category than will fit in one folder.  I’ve got three folders currently packed full of games and a few others scattered around.  When I’m looking for a game, I’ve got to navigate in and out of each folder until I find the app I wanted.  So why didn’t Apple make their folders infinite, enabling scrolling to prevent excess folders of what are essentially house the same contents.

Infinifolders is a tweat for those willing to jailbreak that allows you to pack more than the maximum 12 apps into a single folder.  Of course the app will run you $1.99 in the Cydia store, but for some it might be worth it.  What do you think?  Should Apple allow folders to store as many apps as possible?  Do you have multiple folders for the same category of apps?  Share your frustration in the comments.
