UI Centric Doing Its Part to Bring Windows 7 To Tablets

It seems pretty obvious by now that Windows 7 isn’t going to dominate the tablet market as is but if Steve Ballmer has his way, it’ll still be the driving force underneath user interfaces like UI Centric’s Macallan.  Application navigation shifts away from the Windows task bar into a scrollable application list with deeper functionality through their page turning interface.  To rid yourself of an app simply peel back the top right corner, returning you to the home screen packed with live updates.   All of this comes packed with Adobe Flash support, delivering a full web experience on a tablet.

UI Centric says they’re just getting started so stay tuned for the next demo that shows off multitasking, video conferencing, and USB peripheral support.   Do you think this will make Windows 7 viable in the tablet space?  Let us know what you think in the comments.
