YouTube Leanback Strives for Simplicity

Fresh off the news of YouTube’s mobile page revamping comes a beta version of their newest creation, YouTube Leanback.  Launched by visiting, you’ll find your browser filled with the first of many in a long playlist of videos found in your YouTube ‘feed’.  This feed is based on your YouTube preferences and includes content from your subscriptions, videos from your friends, and favorited videos from those you subscribe to.  Navigation between videos is strictly delegated to your keyboard’s arrow keys. YouTube Leanback is built on Flash so it won’t work with your iOS devices and anything else that’s Flash dependent.
