by Travis Harvey | June 9, 2010June 9, 2010 10:51 am PDT

This year’s WWDC is all about the apps while Mac OS X catches its breath.  Last year Apple debuted their app wall that shows in real-time the apps that are being downloaded from the App Store.  Last year’s featured a wall of displays with a ripple every time that app was downloaded.  You can check it out here.  This year, each of the 50,000 most popular apps downloaded drops to the bottom, sorted by the color of its icon.  Made up of 30 cinema displays that can display 10,800 apps.  It’s pretty cool so take a look above.
