You know the best thing about when each new iPhone is officially introduced? You can stop chasing down all these supposed images of the new iPhone.
Engadget has come up with some pictures of what is reportedly a fourth generation iPhone that was found on the floor of a bar in San Jose inside an iPhone 3G case. It reportedly has 80 GB of storage, and while it was turning on (it has since stopped), it was showing the iPhone OS 4.0. The biggest surprise, though there is no picture of it, was a front facing camera.
The side shows a change to the buttons, but not quite sure what they are yet.
The physical configuration and overall look is slightly different. Things also look a bit more dull in the metal coloring, not quite as shiny as we’ve been used to.
And here is the very fingerprint smudged back, but from all of the “X” markings, it looks like this may be a prototype.
Compared to other photos that have surfaced, this one is looking pretty legitimate. Your thoughts?
