We haven’t been a fan of the Palm Pre ads that we’ve seen aire in the past. Sprint headed down the wrong direction with the creepy Tamara Hope and Verizon potentially alienated half of a prospective market. The latest ad for the Pre Plus is, if nothing else, the start of a campaign that drops the Pre center stage. They’re finally advertising the device for what it is: a sleek, sexy, full-featured and fully-capable smartphone. Let’s just hope the damage from the last two commercials is anything but permanent. Hey, at least they’re sweetening the pot by throwing in a free Pixi Plus with the purchase of either Palm device. Better? It’s a good start.
