TechnoBuffalo Logos That Didn’t make the Cut

Way back in March, Brandon and I began looking for designers for a new company we had just named TechnoBuffalo.  We were hard at work on our business plan, and were building strategies that we would eventually pitch to  potential investors.

Everything was hypothetical at that point; the site was just an idea and we were looking for something tangible to hang out metaphorical hats on, and a proper logo seemed like a decent place to start.

We interviewed a few graphic designers, but eventually settled on Crowdspring (an unsolicited shoutout for them since they are fantastic – a site where designers pitch for your business).  We were featured on their homepage, and subsequently had over 75+ entries and logos to choose from.  Deciding on the one we did was an extremely difficult decision, but ultimately I still feel it was the right one.

I thought it could be fun to share with you some of the good, the bad, and the in between of the logos that were submitted.  What do you think? Did me make the right call?
