If the Playstation 2 classic: Devil May Cry tickled your gaming thumbs, Bayonetta is bound to tickle your thumbs and some other extensions as well. Although Bayonetta is already released in Japan, Europe and North America will be have to wait until January to get an English version of the game. Bayonetta has already raked in critical acclaim by scoring a perfect 40/40 in Famitsu Magazine.
I went hands on with both the PS3 and Xbox 360 demos of the game. Gameplay is fast paced, action packed and most importantly strange beyond belief. Unfortunately the PS3 version is a sorry excuse for a port. The Playstation 3 version of Bayonetta suffers from framerate issues, aliasing and subdued textures. If you have a choice, go with the Xbox 360 version. The game is welcome spot of colorto the mainstream and if you ask me, Bayonetta’s Sarah Palinesque sex appeal alone is worth the price tag. I’m definitely putting this game on my Christmas wish list. What about you?
